Loved it!
I believe these two are my favorite! Meeting Gavin in the previous books and reading what he went through with Veronica I was so ready for him to meet a wonderful woman and have a mutual, loving relationship. So when Whitney came into the picture it was perfect! Their first meeting was so cute and ideal. I loved it! The relationship progressed a bit fast at the beginning with consecutive days of being together but once the time started extending longer and the hockey season started their romance blossomed and felt so real. Loved that they took the physical aspect of their relationship slow and when it happened it was right and they were ready. And the conflicts. Yes, all books need them. And thank you Aven Ellis for not making them drag on. These two adults talk things out and get over themselves in a timely manner. These two are great and I so look forward to more books by this author!
This book is mostly clean. A bit of foreplay but the act is not described. It is fade to black. So there's a bit of spice, but nothing too sexually graphic.
