Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose by Joe Biden

3.0

I wanted to like this book; I wanted to love it! I love Joe Biden and wish he would have run for POTUS. But I expected this to be about his son, his relationship with is son, and his son's illness. That is all weaved through, but a lot is about his political work as VP during the time of his son's illness.

The writing is competent enough but nothing to wow anybody. It is heartfelt, just not what I was expecting.
