This was by far one of the goofiest books I have read.
To sum up the first part of the book. Rock, Paper, and Scissors, are all battling other things. A clothes pin, dino nuggets, a paper shredder, and more. In all of these fights, each one is saddened by the fact that they have never lost. Which causes each one to go traveling, looking for a fight they will lose.
Eventually they stumble upon each other. Each one battling and then congratulating the other for finally feeling the amazing feeling of a lost battle.
By the end of the book. All three have become friends. And the battle of Rock, Paper, Scissors is explained, showing us how the battle had begun.
The art work in the story was nicely done, with a hint of harshness to the characters. The story itself fell in line with a martial arts theme. The thing I liked best was even when someone was beaten. There were no actual graphics of the fight. Just the start and finish. Allowing the reader to think of their own fight. Allowing us to still feel like we had seen the fiercest battle. But had to use our imaginations instead.
I am every happy to say I would score this a solid 10/10 rating.
