 I won't lie, I almost put this book down without finishing it. I struggled with the casual/conversational narration style for the first 25% of the book. And my dyscalcula-riddled brain drifted everytime Dr. Grace spit numbers and measurements at me. But then I met Rocky and learned about space and was introduced to the horrors of alien parasites and the story picked up. I'm not sure if I would give Andy Weir's other books a shot because the narration is just not for me, but I'm glad I stuck this one out.
