An amazing story that seems to weigh in quite symbolically on whether our lives are controlled by destiny or ours to lead. The story is imbibed with futility and yet in small ways the characters make their marks on themselves and each other. The question is whether these marks make their lives worth having lived or not. In the literal sense, it's a statement on exactly how far we as humans will go to extend our lives and those of our loved ones and at what point that cost becomes too dear and indefensible. Plot, characters and language come together meticulously and beautifully to paint a picture that brought tears on several occasions.
