Okay I did not think this was going to be as good as it was. Yes it was seriously dark (it's literally about 2 serial killers, what do you expect) but the banter was sooo good and I genuinely enjoyed every character. Im even excited about the rest of the trilogy which never happens for romance series set up this way. I do wish it spent a little more time explaining how they ended up the way they did, what the police know about them, their.... "process" ...., you know, the important stuff. It felt like there was quite a bit of jumping around and the pacing wasn't quite where I wished it had been, but it certainly wasn't bad. And even with those things knocking my rating down a bit, i still liked it enough to rate it 4 stars. Also, the audiobook was amazing, like actually the best of I've listened to in a long time, so I highly recommend that. But now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch Dexter and Criminal Minds again
