The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame

4.0

Although this story was read to me as child, I had forgotten how much it focuses on friendship, especially between Mole and Rat, as well as between Toad and his loyal friends. The descriptions of nature are wonderful and add to the story's timelessness. A pleasure to read during lazy summers or cozy winters and whether you are looking for comfort or adventure.
