practically went into this book blind because it's Abby Jimenez. I had the jist: boy and girl both have a "curse" where the person they date goes on to find the one after they break up with them. They decide to date each other to break the curse...you know what happens next.
What i always always always love about a Abby Jimez book is that even though you are going to get your HEA someway or another, the route getting there is always so so good and real and true.
The real issues that both of these characters are facing ( abandonment, grief, neither being in a good place to start a relationship) while they figure out where they belong in each other's lives is just chef's kiss.
And so is the intertwining of characters from previous books.
I loved this book. As I do all of her books.
Sigh. 5 stars.
