Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah

4.0

Another very solid book from Kristin Hannah that captures the struggle many women face when building their lives, namely how to balance work and famiily and can anyone have it all? In this story that question is wrapped up in the lifelong friendship of two women. The book does a pretty good job capturing how much work it can be to nuture any relationship that lasts so many years. I wish I had found the character of Tully to be a bit more relateable, but maybe I just feel that way because I identified more with Kate.
