This book is a lot of fun to read in its intended environment, which is no surprise from Uncle John's. Each of the entries is to the point and written in a fun style.
One thing I would have liked to see would have been something like QR codes on each page that would direct the reader to a web page such as the robot's developers, a Wikipedia article, or an online video demonstrating some of these 'bots in action. I'm sure there are all sorts of legal reasons limiting this but it's one thing to read about Big Dog or the "singing" vocal analog, but it's a wholly different experience to see and hear these robots. That said, any of these is just a web search away.
If you like robots and having something to read while on the pot (hey, that's the labelled intent) you won't go wrong with this book.
