Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie

"The sunrise was the colour of bad blood."
The main reason why I wanted to read this book was because of the narrator, Steven Pacey. He does such a good job at creating new voices you would think the book has several narrators.
Another reason why I wanted to continue this series because the author does an amazing job at the characters and making them come alive.
But I disliked the lack of story in the book. It was about revenge and politics which was quite boring. I like how the author complicates the subject but despite how amazing the characters are there are to many to care for.
“That was the difference between a hero and a villain, a soldier and a murderer, a victory and a crime. Which side of a river you called home.”
