Not sure if it is just that I don't mesh well with audiobooks... Or because I listened to the entire thing while driving... Or because it was just really long as an audiobook... Or I just got so used to her tone of voice, it would often become like "white noise" in the background. Anyway, it wasn't terrible. I think also, it might not have been a time to listen to an autobiography, or I prefer to physically read those kinda of books. Anyway, there isn't anything inherently wrong with it or the reading or the tone of voice etc. It might have just been that I'm not in the headspace for an autobiography at the moment. It was also choppy because I would listen to it at 30min intervals and a lot of time I would tune out (because I just generally do that or because I was concentrating on driving or the roads were noisy) and it was spaced out because I wouldn't be driving all of the time. I also don't want to rate it too poorly because it's not that her life (as yet) story is not 'terrible' (the things she experienced were horrible, but this is not what I am talking about here...I just cannot find the exact wording) and it's not that I dislike her as a person. It wasnt the absolute best telling of a story, but that is completely not her fault - she was just telling it as it is/was, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. Like she said, she herself is still processing all of the things that she described, and I guess the writing and reading of this book is a part of that too.
