I wanted to like this book. I will praise the diversity of ethnicities represented as well as the focus on the Queer community. That said, for me the beauty of the story was hidden by the CONSTANT descriptions of sex. I listened to this one on audiobook and it felt like every single chapter involved multiple depictions of sex that were all quite repetitive and somewhat necessary to the plot, I don't think it needed to be that overwhelming in the descriptions.
