As the sequel to Neuromancer I was expecting a lot from this book as I had read from other reviews that this was the better book. I have to disagree. This book was really good but I still found myself enjoying Neuromancer more than when I read this. I don't really know how to describe it.
The book is well written and I found the multiple charcters that intersect eventually really interesting but I still did not enjoy it more than Neuromancer. However, that is not to say that this is not a good book and should be skipped. If you enjoyed Neuromancer you will still enjoy this I am sure of it.
I cannot wait to read the final book in the series, Mona Lisa Overdrive, as I have heard that the story converges very well and ties all the books in a nice way.
