River and Rain are everything. My heart went through it with these two. I was rooting for them so hard!
One of my favorite things about reading romance is the emotions it stirs up in me. I felt an actual ache in my chest while reading this story. I couldn't wait for these two to finally say the words they wanted to say. Finding their way back to each other was rough going but I was so relieved when they did.
I'll admit, not a huge fan of the secret society avenue this book went down, but it was interesting. I was ready for Roman to get punched in the face. I was also ready for Roland to get punched in the face...again.
