Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier

I was hesitant to read this because its "old" and "slow" and seemed kind of boring based on the description but I was hooked within two chapters and tore through it in 3 days. When I hit the 2/3 mark, I told everyone to leave me alone because I had to find out what the twist was. I loved this book. It reminded me of a book we should have read in high school along with House of the Spirits. Beautiful, creepy. And I found it really interesting that the narrator remains nameless for the entirety of the novel.
