The Space Between by Brenna Yovanoff
4.0
I'd actually give this book 3 1/2 stars if I could because while over all I really did enjoy it, there were some parts that I did not.
I got this book from the library because the summary I had read somewhere sounded like it would be interesting. But before actually reading it I read the summary on the slip cover and couldn't help but think "I thought this sounded good?" But I read on. The beginning was unimpressive. I was not sucked into the story and Daphne really seemed liked a flat character with no ambition and no real knowledge of the world. Though I suppose that is probably just because of her upbringing. But once she went to the human world the story became much more interesting to me and I wanted to find out more and more what would happen. I'm not quite sure how I feel about Truman, but Moloch really grew on me. I loved Beelzebub's character even though he wasn't around too much. I found the ending kind of disappointing though. I did not like what happened with Truman, and was definitely not happy with what happened to Beelzebub. The good with the bad, I still think it was a good story.
