Cut Too Deep by Marissa Farrar

5.0

I only came across Marissa's books this year when I joined a book club on Facebook. Since reading one of her books I've become a huge fan. The great thing about Marissa is her versatility. She has written a few different types of genre and I've enjoyed all of them. This is another different type of genre to Marissa's usual books. This is a romantic thriller which is great for those that enjoy a bit of romance but has you on the edge of your seat at the same time. The main thing I loved about this book, is the lead female character Jenna. Jenna is a character that I think most women will be able to relate to, where as most leading characters are size zero and would look great in a bin liner, Jenna is emotionally scarred due to her previous relationship and lacks confidence due to her weight, even turning to food for comfort. She is much more of a believable character and I think a lot of people will be able to see parts of themselves in her. The love interest, Ryker, well I think we would all love one of him in our lives. Good job he is a fictional character otherwise I think he would have hoards of women breaking his door down. Another great book that any love/thrill seeker will enjoy.
