While I did like this one, I feel like it’s not the best of the saga. The “big twist” feels a bit obvious, anyone paying attention could see right through Nerreza and the Britney/Drake switch was pretty much telegraphed from the beginning , but I guess that’s what you get with middle grade fiction.
Very interesting and bone chillingly realistic as usual, though I feel like at this point in the series when the author keeps introducing new elements it begs the question of how nobody had noticed or thought about it before<(I’m talking about the island, but there’s other similar elements along the way) .
Overall still a pretty good book, I’m already starting the next.
