Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews

It's been some time since I read book 6, which I believe is a good thing.
I quite liked this book, and I felt like Kate and Curran had grown as a couple, but thinking about book 6 leaves me angry. Curran should not have gotten away with what he did so easily.
Kate is awesome here. She is strong, but still depend on and trust her companions.

The ending was honestly the only way I believed that this could end, so I was not particularly surprised, but the execution was nice.

(and wow, these covers are so exceptionally bad that I'm starting to love them)
