I really liked the audiobook; the narrator read it in a dreamy haze-like way. At times I didn’t care for it, for instance when I’m driving to work at 7:15 a.m. and haven’t had any caffeine yet.
Still I think it suited the story perfectly and the story was great. It took its time getting interesting but I liked Penny’s perspective. And I like Hazel’s introduction because I didn’t see it at all until it was said outright.
Sad that the story is concluded but I think it’s a good ending and I don’t know if the story could be expanded on for more books.
Shea Ernshaw is definitely an author I need to keep eyes on. ❤️
