I was let down by this book, I expected it to be great.
Ava was intolerable, acting like a spoiled brat and throwing tantrums. She hung out with bad influences and spent most of the book dressing up, reading, eating candy, and provoking Eli. Eli was okay but not scary or interesting. He lost his mysterious vibe from the previous books and treated Ava poorly, despite caring for her.
Overall, the book was dull compared to the others and lacked action. The highlights were Jeremy and Cecily's wedding, other characters planning to marry, Cole and Aiden's banter, and the parents' group chat. That's it.
