Tick Tock by James Patterson, Michael Ledwidge

4.0

The lack of plot depth (or any kind of depth for that matter) of this book ( my first Michael Benett thriller) is made up for by the fast pacing and great suspense. I finished this novel in one sitting last night ( that's what weekends are for, right?) and although I want blown away when I was done, it was a fun read ( which is why I'm giving it 4 stars). I believe that's owed in large part to Patterson's writing skills, which come across in this slightly irreverent narrating style, sprinkled with scattered pop culture references. All in all a good read.
