The Last Passenger by Will Dean

Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.
So slow. I predicted a lot as a I read but mostly it was the writing style. Drawn out, really repetitive and not believable that this was a female protagonist. the male writers pov was so blatant as he would describe in many words why she didn't feel safe as a female near strange men or without a lockable door as if he were teaching children why she need to fear that. And there were descriptions of female characters from the fem protagonists pov which were borderline creepy guy language so again not enjoyable as the male author tried to write from Cazs pov. There's curiosity to know what happens but my life if precious and this has already taken to much of my time. I would recommend this to my uncle that I don't quite like so he'd be occupied for a long time and not bother me.
Oh and in 2023 not having characters respect eachothers choosen preferred names felt unnecessary as a character flaw for Smith when we already know he is racist, bigoted and misogynistic,  we get it. I spent alot of time telling the oages 'I get it'. However, this might make a good thriller tv show because it would cut out the option for a pontificating inner dialogue.a shorter version would have been better, my opinion.
