This book was so easy and comforting. The writing was effortless but effective even with repetitive action. The characters were just as warm as the coffee on the page. Thimble is definitely my favorite, he had me in tears over how cute he was. I liked the plot. I think it hit the tag line of the book well with "high fantasy low stakes." I usually don't like books that lack world-building but I think the overall atmosphere of this book really compensated for that and left me without wanting more world-building. I genuinely can't think of anything that could be improved upon. This is the cozy niche and I will be reccing it to literally everybody in my life.
