I enjoyed this more than the other Hercule Poirot story I have read, so I may be convinced to read another. There was a lot less discrimination/hateful speech in this book compared to Halloween Party, though it is still very much present. I have already seen the recent movie, so I kind of knew the main plot, but I had a really hard time following the cast of characters for a good chunk of the book. As I kept reading though I became very familiar with everyone. This book isn't exactly the same as the movie I have seen, and I still really enjoyed the plot twists and reveals in the book. The ending is pretty satisfying.
Graphic: Death, Suicide, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Gun violence, Infidelity, and Racism
Minor: Sexism, Alcohol, and Classism
