The First Man by Albert Camus

4.0

And to think this is a draft. It's my second Camus, I haven't read that much of him as to classify him as "favourite author" but almost.
He has this unique style that is effortlessly beautiful, it blows me away.
I enjoyed everything he talked about in this book; the portrayal of poverty in Argelia, the education and the growing up in this place, the dynamic with his family... the writing and the content is so deep, all the time, but he manages to make it casual and gorgeous and idk. He's just everything.

You don't get "unique" authors nowadays. He's one of the few, I guess, from the little I've read of him.
