Honestly, I really liked this book, even though I thought I would hate it cause I was just reading it while waiting for the Mark of Athena (I've been waiting for 5 weeks). It was very informative and I mostly just liked it cause of how funny and entertaining Percy's narration is. For most of it, I was really intrigued and genuinely thought I wasn't going to learn anything, but for some reason (Percy <3) I actually learned stuff and now have a pretty good knowledge of the Greek gods. I loved how Riordan focused on each God and I grew to be interested in their stories and just really engaged. Also, you have to appreciate the fact that a lot of research went into this as you can't just make up Greek mythology and have to actually learn about it and then he fully made an entire book on it! Definitely recommended for anyone who likes Percy Jackson but wants a bit more of a background of the Gods and how they became who they were. A solid 3.75/5. Happy reading :)
