The Stolen Girls by Patricia Gibney

2.0

I’ve started this second instalment in the series because I found the first one very enjoyable. I should have read the blurb though as human trafficking isn’t my favourite topic to say the least.
But I started anyway and was immediately confronted with a brutal rape and torture scene. Ik kept on reading as I hoped it would be more about Lottie, and it did for some time. However, the brutality kept coming back and Lottie wasn’t as interesting as in the previous volume, making silly mistakes and not paying attention to neither her family or the case.
