Inspiring, Determined Heroine!
The author paints a vivid world where magic is everywhere, but the star of the novel is unquestionably Bianca. Though the story begins, as great stories often do, at the moment the main character's life changes forever, it becomes clear over the course of the novel that she has led a very interesting life long before we meet her.
Bianca is the kind of character young girls should (and need to) look up to. Clever, resourceful and talented, she exudes a quiet strength and resolve through the most difficult of circumstances and simply refuses to give up, even when all seems lost.
I look forward to seeing her face (and hopefully conquer) the even greater challenges which still await her.
