Ali Hazelwood has a formula and she continues to stick to it. Her books are easily consumable and make great palette cleansers.
This is YA so even though the romance has the same build up as her other books it doesn’t have the satisfying conclusion. But it gave more time to the character development and storyline which I liked. Though it did feel like some big things were glazed over and just wrapped up too quickly.
