King of Wrath by Ana Huang

5.0

mia cara. MIA CARA. MIA. CARA. good lord dante you’re going to kill me. king of wrath PROVIDED. arranged marriage? check. a strong ‘im going to shove it up your ass’ female lead? CHECK. THE CUTEST LITTLE MOMENTS? YES. THE PERFECT RELEVANCE OF PLOT TIED WITH THE ROMANCE? DOUBLE CHECK.

i really really loved this book, dante and vivians chemistry was so strong and i loved how their relationship developed. one of my favourite parts about it was all their little moments, like the kitchen scene, Paris, bali, their dates, i loved seeing them actually be a couple. the mia cara nickname had me kicking my feet and blushing i won’t lie. and the way dante wasn’t a toxic possessive male, he was almost respectfully possessive if that makes sense. OH AW I LOVED EVERYTHING HE DID AND PLANNED FOR HER. HES SO SOFT FOR HER.

i am on my knees for kai, british and smart?? im running to the sign up sheet. all the kai crumbs and isabella scenes had me grinning for their book.

(the audio book is hands down the best audiobook I’ve listened to so far and if you’re horny for male voices then go treat yourself because dante had a Italian accent and kai had a British accent and i was pretty sure I was going to lose it with how sexy that all was)

queen vivian standing up to her father 🧎🏽‍♀️ AND THEN DANTE THREATENING HIM AT THE END. and the way she messed up and moved all his things!! WHEN KAI PURPOSELY WOUND DANTE UP BY GETTING CLOSE TO HER AND HED COME STORMING OVER IN A FIT OF JEALOUSY 😭. the breakup and how they reconciled was really good! it felt realistic and i love when dante reintroduced himself so they could have a fresh start!

just finished my 3rd reread this year. it’s so good. viv and dante for life 🙏 my paperback was abused during this reread. they just get me all giddy 😩
