The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

5.0

This the first story that I have read by Oscar Wilde. I've only been accustomed to his poetry but even his simple stanzas and verses moved me. Wilde has an eloquence with words that is just awe-inspiring. I love the portrait used as a symbol for corruption and I always disliked Dorian gray because of his vanity. At first, I dislike Sir Henry but as the story progressed, I realized that I agreed with a lot of his intellect and insights. Delightful to read and my love for Oscar Wilde continues to grow
