How to Not Die Alone: The Surprising Science That Will Help You Find Love, by Logan Ury

5.0

I think this book gives you a chance to retrospect and pinpoint where you're going wrong in your approach to relationships. Although the ideas stated here seem pretty obvious, I realised that these are just "ideas" and not necessarily applied in real life. That's where this book gives you a chance to examine your approach to relationships.

Behavioral science to relationships seemed like a pretty new concept to me at first - how is love a 'science', and is it really quantifiable? But going through, I was able to see a lot of patterns in failed relationships. Some of us have unrealistic expectations in relationships, in partners, or some being too superficial to move forward.
In today's world where finding love involves online dating with too many distractions and superficiality (via social media), this book has definitely been a gamechanger
