I was excited to finally start this series to see if it would pick up relatively close to where Caraval ended and i was not disappointed. OUABH starts during the events taking place towards the end of Finale.

This book was everything I didnโ€™t even know I needed. I loved the dark fairytale vibes and getting to see dragons and other new creatures. I also loved getting to learn more about the North and their culture. Also,  how different they are from Valenda in the South. I really adore Evangeline and her tenacity to never give up and to keep fighting for what is right, not what is only self serving to her. Jacks, my heart, I loved getting to have him as the MMC and seeing how much he begins to care for Eva. Also, he has blue hair in this book ๐Ÿ˜. I feel like blue hair on any normal man would be meh, but on Jacks ๐Ÿฅต

This book was enthralling, magical, mysterious, heartbreaking and beautiful. Stephanie Garber has such a gift for writing beautiful stories. I canโ€™t wait to jump into The Ballad of Never After!
