People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry

“I still have a lot to figure out, but the one thing I know is, wherever you are, that’s where I belong. I’ll never belong anywhere like I belong with you.”

One thing I LOVE about Emily Henry's books is that all of her main characters are so very different from each other. In some authors' works, the main characters just seem like slightly different versions of each other. But Emily Henry creates unique, vibrant characters with varying personalities every single time, and that's obvious in her books.

I liked how this book was structured— the steady build-up to the vacation that wrecked Alex and Poppy's friendship mixed with present-day scenes. It allowed me to see how their relationship progressed over time and it kinda felt like I was right there with them, experiencing their years of friendship right along with them.

Also ???? ALEX IS SO CUTE ??? I love me a dorky man, and as soon as I read about him reading a book at a bar in the prologue, I knew he was the one for me.

I'm super proud of Poppy and I loved her as a main character. I want her to be my best friend.

I hate to sound cliche but I'm turning into a huge fan of Emily Henry's books!!
