Didn’t like the ending as much as the beginning on this series. The concept still really charming, but the romance wasn’t particularly interesting. And there was way more ... I guess world building than seemed necessary. You got a lot more detail on the quirks of this world than ended up having any bearing on the story. There just wasn’t enough story to warrant going to that much trouble. But it was still a lot of fun, and honestly, worth the read for the covers alone.
