Raven Queen's Story and Apple White's Story are exactly the same as the first two chapters of the Every After High novel that Shannon Hale published in October 2013. They are like the teaser book trailers to the book itself so it didn't really help that I read them after I was halfway through Ever After High. The story is kind of cute and geared towards elementary school kids. I think middle and high school girls would find it too young. The whole concept is exactly the same as Monster High. They are both created by Mattel.
