wow now this is an epic high fantasy!

What I liked:
- Although this was a storyline i have read before I felt like it was also special and unique. I was on literally the edge of my seat stressed reading this an i loved every second of it.
- The magic was so cool and i loved it.
- The characters were all complex. At one point i hated and loved everyone. This was a dual pov book from MMC, Mamoru and FMC Misaki. They were so well written and I felt all of their emotions.
- The pacing of this book was steady but the story was pushed and written so well i feel like i flew through it.
- I cried reading this, the characters and their emotions was just captured so well.
- the battle scenes were written so well. I felt like i was watching a movie and it didn't go to fast.
- There are so amazing themes in here, bravery, loyalty, gender roles, politics. Its a study of humans and our interactions and being let down and trying to fight for whats right. Its just everything you want and need.
- I am big into world building when it comes to fantasy and it was done so well here the clothing the different dialects the mountains and villages. It was also so beautiful.
- This is a wonderful model on how to write and engage a reader in an  epic high fantasy.

What I didn't like;
- I have so many questions and i am positive this is a standalone lol.

I highly recommend this.
