Every book in the Dresden Files has been a smash hit for me. They keep getting better and better. I haven't felt any sort of regression whatsoever. If I were to say anything about this book there are a lot of big things that go unfinished which I assume will be tied up in the next book. Most of the time Dresden Files tie everything up nice and neat for the next book aside from the larger over arching themes and story lines. This one actually shows Dresden growing in a different way. Not just in power. I can't say much for his character growth over all. He sort of stays the same and just becomes more intelligent and more powerful. He shows a different kind of growth in this book. Very cool to see. I don't mean to say he hasn't grown as a character over the series but it has been very gradual and slow. It is hard to notice and I do not think that is a bad thing. Sorry for this piss poor review. I'm new to doing this. I love this book and every other book in the series. I don't really have anything bad to say.
