Fear: Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward

3.0

Probably 3.5 stars. This book is very helpful in trying to understand how Trump's White House is organized and how we see Trump act and stand on some issues. I thought the insights provided by Porter, Priebus, and Cohn were the most helpful. It lends itself to the argument that staff and Cabinet members do keep Trump in check. One of the biggest takeaways from me is that Trump sees the world through a cost/benefit analysis, bottom line, but the world acts in a more complex way than this. Also, he can't tell the truth. This book is required reading.
