Wow what a disappointment…
This book was SO good until about the 50% mark. And it’s not even that it got bad, it was actually written really well. The issue is that there are so many unexpected twists in turns in this book, in literally the worst way imaginable.
This had the potential to be a really well done book, why the need for the unrealistic plot twist? You could have had the serial killer twist, the spousal murder twist, the murderous cop twist, all of the above without ever mentioning what the author actually ended up using. (Sorry trying to leave this spoiler free).
Idk man I’m disappointed. The only reason I’m giving it 2.5 stars instead of 2 is because it was really good writing with a terrible plot.
