Of Poseidon by Anna Banks

This book starts out good and very intriguing but damn as it continued on it just kept getting worse and worse, mainly because of how much of an asshole Galen was. The author says in a bonus section of the book she was inspired by twilight to start writing and it definitely shows—this guy is the worst of Edward, Jacob, and Christian from Fifty Shades, all rolled up into one miserable excuse of a being. And this was supposed to be a ROMANCE?! Barf. Between that and how little the author cares about making the true-to-life aspects of the story even remotely accurate or realistic, and how much she loses track of how much time has passed, and how characters sometimes can’t stay consistent even within the same scene to the point they feel more like props to push the story along (and don’t even get me started on the lack of nothing that masqueraded as a “plot”), and I hated this. I kept reading hoping for a good, or at least interesting ending, but the author couldn’t even give us that much. Absolutely do not recommend, total waste of both money and time.
