I loved a lot of the action points and plot threads here, but I think the focus on 7 main characters was too much. I didn't find the new friendships and connections believable, which I think was just a case of trying to do too much. I usually love the way the author writes about characters connecting but there wasn't enough time with any of the new combinations to really see those friendships develop. I loved getting Annabeth's POV in this book though.
Graphic: Violence and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Fire/Fire injury
