Narcissus in Chains by Laurell K. Hamilton

this series is addicting bec it so easy to read but man are there so many problematic things. the misogyny my god...anyway a lot of ppl complained about the sex in here but ive read hr/paranormal romance books with a lot more so it doesnt bug me and if it does i simply skip. the plot is not just sex there other things happening here. mind you i knew coming into this series that this will happen but i see how ppl who followed this series as it came out could be shocked.

Spoiler
richard and anita are both stubborn...

look at me being on jc's side el oh el despite his issues he is consistent while the other two are so confused and end up hurting even more ppl. i know anita and nathaniel are a thing in the future but wow i dont know how the author is going to pull that on off bec yeah no.

micah's sex secene with anita was basically rape she said no multiple times like multiple times and jc and him forced her into it. jc scared me ngl he is consistent with his evil so ill give him that.

i want richard and jc to happen there i said. they seem to have a decent enough friendship behind her back so i want to it to happen. richard and anita? nope i actually dont think anita should be with anyone at this moment other than jc and micah. also the fact that she is the only one that can have multiple partners but not jc or micah is weird/homophobic.

anyway ive looked at spoilers i think it might get better we will see
