The Clown Service by Guy Adams

5.0

Really incredible. First, I would never have heard of it if I hadn't been browsing next to Douglas Adams in the book store. The author, Guy Adams, seems to be a prolific author, publishing books at a pulp rate. But the quality shows that he has learned not only hot to out a sentence together, but also how to flesh out multiple unique characters with sympathetic arcs. His visual descriptions have that Douglas Adams touch. And by the end of the book, it is surprisingly touching, and as the first book in a series, equally tense as a cliff-hangar.
