I am rung with soooo much emotion as I try to describe how I feel about this book. K. Lashaun really knows how to pull on your emotions & this is no different - I was glued and locked in from the first page, if anything I loved Remy’s cold exterior and just understood her, she’s so far my favorite character that K. has written.

I usually stay away from heavily emotional books but this was so well worth it & I highly recommend it.

I personally wish that the father is burning somewhere bc how you show up for everyone BUT YOUR OWN DAUGHTER - fudge you my guy. & the mama, I still have conflicting feelings about the way she felt & just never talked to her daughter again but she had her own trauma so like I guess but *side eye*

Lathan ohhh Lathan; I just know he gives great hugs !!! But the care that he had for Remedy and taking things slowwwww to ensure that she was comfortable and at ease was soooooo enduring & I loved every bit of it !! Those moments of her “exploration” where just beyond sweet & im glad Remy got to explore intimacy with someone who cared about her pleasure just as much as his own.
