The Big Chili by Julia Buckley

4.0

I was a little skeptical of the premise that lies at the heart of this cozy series, but it works really well and I super enjoy Buckley's writing. The characters and the town are really well-done and appealing and nothing is too cutesy, the way it can sometimes be in books like this. The mystery is solid - I totally didn't guess it - and I immediately put in my reserve for book two.
