I think I might need to better understand Brecht’s theories on the theater in order to get what’s going on in this play and why Brecht made the choices he made. As it is, I just didn’t really find myself caring about anything or anyone in the play, and thought much of the satire was very on the nose. That being said, it was still funny at times, and it’s social critique was quite clear.
