Attention gamers: Read this book!
This is my first dive into the LitRPG genre and it was so fun! I enjoyed the worldbuilding and spent the entire book drooling over a game I wish I could play-Continue Online.
I appreciate that the story wasn't solely about a game, but about the real people behind the players- and an NPC in the main character's case.
I also appreciated Grant's complexity as a character. His personality shone through even during his time as an NPC. He also dealt with very human and relatable emotions throughout the book. I'm excited to continue (ha-ha-ha) with the rest of this series.
